The Duping Glitch 2022 was an unintended major tragedy in which players quickly started duplicating Icewing. Other weapons such as Collectibles, Batwing, Bioblade, Iceflake, Icebeam, Eggblade, Heartblade, Cookieblade, Peppermint, Vampire's Edge, Ghostblade, Frostbite, Nebula, Prismatic, Plasmablade, and Plasmabeam were also affected. It was clearly not intended to occur as Nikilis deleted majority of the large duplicated stacks of shop items on October 16th, 2022.

How it Started[]

There’s no clear answer on how this glitch began, but it was likely caused by a code error in development that led to a new duplication script being intentionally discovered. Players in the community later found out that the duplication script was primarily targeted towards shop items.
What Happened:[]
Players discovered that you must own the gamepass or find someone that owns the gamepass of the item(s) you wish to duplicate. As a result, many players began mass duplicating Icewing and other shop items in vast quantities as shown in the image. A few weapons however have only been mildly affected, those being Vampire's Edge, Ghostblade, Frostbite, Eggblade, Bioblade, Heartblade, Cookieblade, Peppermint, and Prismatic.

- Active Traders: Severely lost their value.
Aftermath[]
Icewing and many other shop item’s values and demand dropped heavily and are now disliked by many players including traders. Icewing reached an all time low in value as a result of this glitch.
