May 2020 Update

The May 2020 Update was a small update in Murder Mystery 2.

Description[]

The creator of MM2 introduced some new features. Some of the features are new powers, emotes, a new code, and bug fixes. The two new powers are Trap and Sprint. Both can be purchased for 3000 coins or 400 diamonds. All powers got price changes and some even got improved. You are now able to use ROBLOX emotes. Nikilis did get some backlash because emotes used to be an exclusive feature to MM2 but now you can use any emote that you own on ROBLOX. Nikilis added a new code after years of people asking for new codes.

New Powers[]

There were two new powers added in May 2020: Trap and Sprint. They are both in the shop for 3000 coins or 400 diamonds. The power Trap allows you to place up to 3 traps each round. Whenever someone walks on the trap they will freeze for 3 seconds. The placer (murderer) will not freeze if they walk over the trap. The traps resemble a bear trap. The Sprint power is very similar to the power Haste. Sprint can be activated directly by the murderer and will give a much more significant speed boost than Haste, but for a much shorter duration and with a cooldown.

New Feature[]

Before you were not able to use ROBLOX emotes in MM2, but now the creator of the game has allowed all players to use emotes. Unlike MM2 emotes, ROBLOX emotes are free or robux. You are able to use emotes by using "/e emote name" or by clicking the emote button on the top of the built in ROBLOX gui. Nikilis has gotten a lot of hate because emotes were a special thing that MM2 had that were available in the shop. But now you are able to use lots of different emotes that were released by ROBLOX.

New Code[]

After many years, Nikilis added a new code. The code is COMB4T2 and when used you got Combat II, a common knife. You were able to get multiple if this weapon if you have multiple ROBLOX accounts.
