Innocent is a role that can be randomly given to a maximum of ten players each round. The total amount of innocents is determined by how many players are in a server. This can be calculated by counting the players in a server and subtracting by two.
Overview[]
Innocent is the most common role to get, due to Murderer and Sheriff only being assigned to one player each per round.
The objective of an innocent is to avoid the murderer by any means, and primarily to collect coins. The longer an innocent survives, the more experience they get. Innocents will win if there is at least one innocent remaining, the murderer hasn't been defeated yet, the sheriff has shot the murderer, the murderer has left the game mid round, or if three minutes pass (equal to 900 experience points, 5 experience per second).
Role:[]
- Run and hide from the murderer. Use your detective skills to expose the murderer.
- Pick up the gun if the sheriff has died and become the Hero.
- Work with the sheriff to win.
- Don't get killed by the murderer.
Tips[]
- If the player hears a stabbing sound, they should take a peek outside their hiding spot to identify the murderer.
- Beware of your surroundings. If you don't know who the murderer is, it is recommended to stay away from a group of players after the round starts.
- If you are going to hide in compact spots, it is not recommended to use Pets. This is because it has a high chance to ruin your hiding spot as they're large in size and tend to be easily spotted in small areas.
- Think carefully about every move. Some murderers can predict where a player will go and end up throwing a knife in that direction!
- There is a small chance that a player will be sheriff or murderer two or more times in a row. Because of this, many players may assume that once someone is the murderer, they will be innocent or sheriff the next round.
- Players should try to move into different areas and rooms in the map to confuse the murderer, so they can get more time to hide/run.
- Be careful of murderers who use the X-ray perk, because by making the walls transparent, the murderer can see where you're hiding.
- If the player has a Radio, it is unwise for them to use to it during rounds (if they're any role other than murderer) because the murderer can track where they are by the sound of their radio, increasing their chances of getting murdered.
- In specific spots like the microwave behind Mansion2, it is recommended to go on a small avatar. If the player with a big avatar hides there, the murderer can easily see them. To add to that, remove any hair accessories on the top to avoid being seen.
- If your going to try and play it safe, be sure to check your corners. The last thing you want is to blindly assume that it safe before being ambushed and killed.
- If you see a dead body but didn’t hear a stabbing sound, be on high alert as the murderer may be using the Ninja perk to make it harder for the players to predict where the stabbing came from.
- It is not recommended to hide in obvious spots as the murderer will always check in those spots. Instead, try to keep moving as the murderer will have a tough time keeping track of where you may be.
- If the murderer is camping the gun, don’t risk getting the gun unless you're 100% sure the murderer is not there.
- If you see a player and you’re not 100% sure if they’re the murderer or not, it is recommended to play it safe and walk the other direction.
- If you know who murderer is, you can try to describe their appearance as best you can to help the other players. Please note, if you're dead or in the lobby the players in the round cannot see your messages in chat.
