The Halloween Event 2019 was an event that commenced on October 26th, 2019 and concluded on November 16th 2019. Prior to the end of the event, players were given a last chance to spend their remaining candies.

Two Godly weapons, a godly Pet and an Ancient knife were obtainable in this event. The Ancient being the Elderwood Scythe, the godly pet being Ghosty, and the two Godlies being Ghostblade, and Elderwood Revolver.

Main Event

There were 40 tiers in total. Each tier costed 1,000 Candies . The Elderwood Scythe ancient costed 80,000 Candies, while the Elderwood (radio) costed 5,000 Candies. To obtain all items from the event, it was needed 124,000 Candies.

Traveller Challenge

The Mysterious Traveller Challenge was initiated by completing the last tier of the Main Event. Players were rewarded the Ancient tier Elderwood Scythe by collecting or buying 80,000 Candies, and then purchasing the tier. They could then also purchase an Elderwood Radio after claiming the Elderwood Scythe for 5,000 Candies.

Leaderboard

Every annual event there is a special leaderboard. To get onto this year's leaderboard, players had to collect candies. The only way to obtain such candies was by collecting them during rounds. Each player on the leaderboard received a unique gun depending on their rank. First place got Gold Elderwood, second earned Silver Elderwood, third earned Bronze Elderwood, and every other player who placed on the leaderboard earned Blue Elderwood.

Gamepass

The Ghostly Item Pack was the annual limited-time offer during the event. Purchasing this pack costed players 1,699 Robux, which gave players the godly knife Ghostblade, the godly pet Ghosty, and the exclusive Ethereal effect.

Criticism

This event received a lot of backlash due to players complaining that it was too hard to obtain the Elderwood Scythe. The traveller explains that it isn't easy to get an Ancient weapon, even though the Icewing was ruined by its glitch and Flames was changed to a godly.

Trivia

• This was the fifth Halloween event to occur in Murder Mystery 2.
• This was the first ever holiday event to have custom designed weapons.
• The Elderwood Scythe and the Elderwood Revolver had different pictures, which have now been swapped with the current ones.
