Easter Event 2023

The Easter Event 2023 was a minor event that began on April 1st, 2023, and ended on May 3rd, 2023. Many new Easter-themed rewards were introduced to the game, along with a new limited time bundle, an Easter egg hunt, a new lobby, and a new form of currency (eggs).

Overview

During this event, there were two main ways to earn unique rewards; collecting a set amount of the new currency, eggs , or collecting Rare Eggs occasionally. In total, seven knives and five guns of varying rarities, a pet, two exclusive effects, and a toy were introduced. Each could be obtained by claiming a specific number of eggs or Rare Eggs, or simply through trading (excluding the exclusive effects and toy). Eggs could not be purchased, meaning that the only way to obtain them was by collecting them during rounds. However, eggs spawned alongside coins , meaning that coins and eggs would add to the coin bag together. For the five rewards below, a player had to collect the set amount of eggs to obtain each reward, with each reward progressively demanding more eggs .

Egg Hunt / Bingo Challenge

During the event, a special type of egg called Rare Eggs could be collected to earn numerous rewards, such as weapons of varying rarities and toys. The rewards system worked like bingo where you had to earn eggs in a single row, either horizontally or vertically. However, if you had a full coin bag or had already collected the same rare egg previously, you would not have been able to earn said rare egg. After all twelve rare eggs were collected, players would earn themselves the Egg Toy.

Easter Bunny

Within the event, there was an Easter Bunny that could be found in the new Easter themed lobby to the left of the voting room. The Easter Bunny came with no dialogue, therefore its sole purpose was to give players another way to access the event’s interactive GUI. Prior to interacting with the Easter Bunny, a large green arrow would appear over it, moving up and down, indicating it’s function.

Rainbow Bundle

The Rainbow Bundle was the annual limited-time offer for the event. Purchasing the whole bundle costed 3,399 Robux, which gave players the godly knife Rainbow, the godly gun Rainbow Gun, and the exclusive Rainbow effect. The Rainbow Gamepass and the Rainbow Gun Gamepass could’ve been purchased separately for 1,699 Robux each, but didn’t include the exclusive effect.

Trivia

• It was the second Easter Event to occur, the first being the Easter Event 2016.
• It was the second ever event to feature a bingo challenge, the first being the Halloween Event 2015.
• This event succeeded the Valentines Event 2023, therefore causing the Sakura Bundle to be succeeded by the Rainbow Bundle.
