Christmas Event 2021

MM2's icon when the Christmas Event began.

The Christmas Event 2021 is an event that began on December 21st, 2021 and ended on January 28th, 2022. Five godly weapons were introduced in this event: Icebeam, Iceflake, Swirly Blade, Swirly Gun, and Chroma Swirly Gun. An ancient knife, called the Swirly Axe, was also introduced during this event.

Overview

The event contained a new lobby, a Main Event, Gifting Center, a Mystery Box, two Leaderboards, and a new Item Pack.

Maps

A new map under the name Train Station was added in the event.

Log Cabin and Workshop from past Christmas events were re-added There were 3 Christmas Maps.

Main Event

This event consisted of 20 tiers. All of them cost 800 Snow Tokens , and the first tier was free. The last tier could’ve been purchased for 80,000 Snow Tokens and gave players the ancient knife Swirly Axe.

Ice Bundle

Ice Bundle Gamepass

The Ice Bundle was the annual limited-time offer for the event. Purchasing the whole bundle costed 3,399 Robux, which also gave players the exclusive Ice Magic effect. The Iceflake and Icebeam gamepasses could've been purchased separately for 1,699 Robux, but didn’t include the exclusive effect.

Gifting Center

The gifting center was where Gifts could be purchased for 1,000 Snow Tokens . These Gifts could only be open on other players. Inside the Gift was a random item from any Mystery Box. Giving 100 Gifts would reward the player with Swirly Blade.

Swirly Axe

Swirly Axe

Swirly Axe was the new ancient knife added to the game during this event. To obtain it, players had to purchase the last tier of the Main Event for 80,000 Snow Tokens , first having to claim the previous tiers.

Leaderboard

There were 2 leaderboards during this event, one for Token-Collecting and one for Gift-Giving . Spending tokens or buying tokens did not affect the total amount of tokens collected. Unique Trophies were awarded to the top 100 token collectors and gifters, the token reward being Blue Swirly Axe and the gifting reward being Blue Swirly Gun. The top 3 of these 100 received their own gold, silver, or bronze variation. The collected tokens variation is a Swirly Axe, and the gifts given variation is a Swirly Gun.

Trivia

• This is the 7th Christmas Event to occur.
• This marks the return of Christmas Chromas since the Christmas Event 2018.
• This is the first time Saint Nikilis' Workshop wasn't brought back to the event.
• This is the third time the Gifting Center was brought back to the game.
• When this event finished, some servers actually still had the event.
• The gift from the Gifting Center’s model derives from the Roblox Giftsplosion Event 2014, specifically the Red Frozen Gift of the Master Developer.
• All of the items obtainable during this event were designed by IDontHaveAUse.
