All the crates that are currently purchasable as of Season 1
Boxes (Formerly known as Crates) are a feature in Murder Mystery 2 that can be found in the Shop. Each box contains a set of weapons that are either knives or guns that vary in rarities such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Godly, and Chroma. Each box can be unboxed for 1,000 Coins 
, 100 Diamonds 
, or 1 Mystery Key 
. Boxes available during events are only unboxable for a limited time and require a either an exclusive key, or a set amount of Snow Tokens 
, Candies or other currencies (example: Eggs or Beach Balls) to open them. At the moment, there are eleven unboxable boxes: six knife boxes, three gun boxes, and two mystery boxes.

Discontinued Boxes
Discontinued Boxes are boxes that formerly used to be purchasable in the Shop for a set amount of Coins. Some boxes were discontinued due to copyright infringement, and others were removed after the Season 1 update was released. The weapons from each box (excluding the MLG Box and the Chroma Box) however are still obtainable through trading.

Event Boxes
Event Boxes are exclusive boxes that are available for a limited time in the Shop. These boxes could’ve only be unboxed during their events using an exclusive key, or a set amount of Gifts, Snow Tokens, Candies, or Beach Balls. So far, there have been eighteen event boxes in the game; eight Halloween boxes, nine Christmas boxes, and one Summer box. The weapons from each box however are still obtainable through trading.

Trivia
- Classic Boxes' coin prices increased to 1,000
after the Season 1 update.
- Before the update, these boxes each used to cost 200 Coins .

- Mystery Box 1 was the very first Season 1 box.
- Mystery Box 2 is the first box to have two Godlies and two Chroma Godlies inside of it.
- The MLG Box was discontinued due to copyright-related reasons. It was changed to the Chroma Box, and then eventually changed to the Rainbow Box because Nikilis thought the knives in the Chroma Box weren't suitable enough.
- The 2024 Summer Box is the very first Summer box.
