Assassin is a gamemode that was introduced to Murder Mystery 2 on February 2nd, 2017. It was heavily influenced by another popular Roblox game at the time called Assassin!.
Gameplay[]
Everyone is given a target to eliminate when a round begins. If you eliminate your target, a new target will be assigned. However you must be careful as you are also someone's target. The player that is the last one standing gets the victory. When assigned a target, it displays the username, avatar, knife and gun of the chosen player. If you stab a player that is not your target or assassin, your knife disappears for 5 seconds, and there is no stabbing noise. If you throw it at a player that is not your target or assassin, it makes the stabbing noise and your knife disappears for 5 seconds.
Trivia[]
- This gamemode was added into Murder Mystery 2 after Assassin! by prisman was temporarily shut down.
- Assassin was in Beta until July 23rd, 2023.
- There was once a bug on computers, where after you die, the entire GUI would disappear and if you played another round you would not be able to see your target.
